It’s actually police protocol to withdraw from an armed live attacker with viable weapons in order to regroup and engage with tactical teams & gear. It’s part of why they shoot unarmed fleeing suspects in the back but retreat from mass shooters

So this show turned out even worse than Surf Dracula
Finding out the Halo TV Show did not, in fact, end with a season finale cliffhanger that shows them discovering the Halo. The season ends without them discovering the Halo. Hopefully in season 2 of Halo the TV Show, they can eventually make it to the titular setting of the games.

Steve Ditko states in one of his essays that yes Stan did play a part in creating Spider-Man. The main dispute is that he never gave others who assisted him adequate plotting & co-creation credits.
For the record: Stan Lee didn't create Spiderman. Also, old white men not understanding the importance of representation is neither noteworthy nor relevant.

Further context here. So Ditko has said that the 5 page original story script could’ve come from Jack Kirby, but he wasn’t sure. Ditko says that Kirby’s Spider-Man was dropped once Ditko pointed out it was too similar to The Fly, another 50s hero.

the more people bastardize the word "groomer" to mean "queer people" or "anyone who treats children with respect and autonomy" or "anyone even mildly left of center", the harder it is to talk about actual grooming being done to children, and that is intentional.
