I saw a homeless guy and I felt bad for him. So I did what I think any of us would do - drove to a nearby affluent area, found the biggest, nicest house and put a tenner through their letter box. You mark my words, before long that money will trickle down to the homeless guy.

Cost of building new bridge in Worcester reaches £16m - almost doubling. Clearly this is a bridge too far. Part of decision making includes knowing when you are defeated and when to give up, we have passed that point. Stop now before it goes too far !worcesternews.co.uk/news/214…

Here is a fun fact, age discrimination in employment is actually a crime.
Makes sense when we have full employment (like now) because young people don’t need a leg up; but when there is unemployment in the economy, if you have to pay a 19 year old the same as a 27 year old… you’d hire the 27 year old every time.

12 cancellations by @AvantiWestCoast this morning - the first day of a reduced timetable meant to bring stability. This is a failing service. I ask the Transport Secretary again: are you prepared to meet us urgently to agree a plan to restore normal services?

The TUC estimates that nationalising the energy retailers would cost £2.85bn. Starmer is talking about handing over £29bn just to keep prices down. This isn’t pragmatic, it is ideological.
Keir Starmer explains why he wouldn't nationalise the energy companies.

Nationalise Bulb 💡 (instead of the taxpayer paying Octopus £1 billion to buy it) Now is the perfect time to set up a state owned energy supplier (like EDF in France which has kept bill rises to only 4%) #NationaliseBulb weownit.org.uk/act-now/natio…

Avanti struggle to run a timetable when their drivers decide not to work their days off. Which I suppose means they're short of drivers. But there's just one thing.... I can't seem to see any train driver vacancies on their website?

I write things sometimes that are too long wordy and unreadable to put anywhere useful so I thought I might as well through a blog up on a domain I have.
