We can’t take money violently out of the hands of government. All we can do is by some sly roundabout way introduce something that they can’t stop

To world leaders who think Putin can be appeased & will follow agreements. In his speech on March 18, 2014, he said: "Don’t believe those who try to frighten you with Russia & who scream that other regions will follow after Crimea. We don't want a partition of #Ukraine" He lied

7 months after Politico said vaccination rates were the key determinant of whether a country could keep case rates down, highly vaccinated Portugal, where ~95% of adults are fully vaccinated, has the highest case rate in the world and their highest case rate on record Whoops

Novembre 2021.

We had to stop Russia after Chechnya. Instead of that, we ignored Russian crimes in Georgia, in Ukrainian Donbas, in Syria - and we have got a full-scale WW3 today. This is the price for "looking for a compromise" and "avoiding escalation".

This is a reminder that the Budapest Memorandum signed by Russia gave security assurances against use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons. Russia broke the agreement, not NATO.

Da leggere. spectator.co.uk/article/the-…
