Hi Martin, saw your article in Spiked. Willing to take a bet on whether South Korea, Iceland, Hong Kong or Taiwan will go above 6 confirmed COVID deaths per million on a 7-day rolling average at any time in the future?

Too bad this was ignored. Tragic.

What do you suggest for the 2 million who are #shielding when it ends on 1st August? We are being expected to return to work, some of us work with the public

Hi Martin, as I understand you are advocating a age stratified response in order to protect older people. If one draws that to an extreme one could incentivize young people to get infected in order to differentiate even more. Would that be a good strategy you think?

No, that is not a good strategy.

Asking for a "friend". :D If say you are modeling some stuff that requires to have a properly adjusted value for >60 and <60. With 'properly' meaning based on new data but acceptable to 'the consensus' what values would you use today? cc @WesPegden
