This was the Governor of New York on Meet the Press yesterday. Didn't even cause a blip. nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna129…

Didn’t expect Tristan Snell to say that the Buffalo shooter was acting in self-defense. I disagree; I think the Buffalo shooter is a murderer.
Remember when we said that acquitting Kyle Rittenhouse would embolden the next Kyle Rittenhouse to be far worse? Yeah.

What do you think this proves?

What was the Las Vegas shooter’s motive?
Why do you support the murder of innocent people in Waukesha?

It's not "replacement theory" to say that Democrats view immigration as a political weapon. It's just a fact. And let's be clear: they've also used it against the Hispanics they don't like because they vote Republican. They were openly giddy about Florida becoming less Cuban.

What about Waukesha?

This might be the fastest bad historical take that I've seen from this alleged historian. His reply makes it clear that the truth was never really a big concern.
Can’t wait to hear about the *real* victims in all this — the Fox News hosts whose promotion of the white supremacist Great Replacement Theory is now being so rudely quoted back to them.

“Conspiracy theory” has been redefined to mean “quoting people’s own words.” The idea that Democrats think increased immigration will help them win elections is not a conspiracy theory. If you think that there’s a secret cabal orchestrating it, yes, that’s a conspiracy theory.
“No public figure has promoted replacement theory more loudly or relentlessly than the Fox host Tucker Carlson, who has made elite-led demographic change a central theme of his show since joining Fox’s prime-time lineup in 2016” nytimes.com/2022/05/15/us/re…

Tristan Snell is probably not this bad of a lawyer in real life, but he loves tweeting boob bait to get his engagement numbers up.

Trying and failing to negotiate successfully with Joe Manchin is not, contra Politico, "efforts at bipartisanship."
The fever didn’t break. And for the White House, efforts at bipartisanship have finally taken a backseat To the frustration of some of his closest aides, Biden had insisted on trying to work with GOP But it’s now time to change course - and attack politico.com/news/2022/05/15…

Bernie Sanders is not responsible for the Congressional baseball shooting. Barack Obama is not responsible for the mass shooting of Dallas police officers. And Tucker Carlson is not responsible for the Buffalo massacre.

"Everyone who says things I don't like is responsible for mass shootings" is the predicate for "everyone who says things I don't like must be stopped from talking." That's the game. And the media are playing it to the hilt.

Multiple studies have shown that racial essentialist education (critical race theory) pushes people toward racial essentialist beliefs, so it’s entirely possible that the shooter learned his racism in a public school. Not in Florida, obviously, since they don’t allow that.
You know where that 18-year-old racist from Buffalo, NY did NOT learn his racism? His public school. Do you know where he might have learned to be anti-racist? His public school, if they taught factual history and systemic racism. #justsayin

Fascinated by the idea that there was ever any real effort at bipartisanship from Biden. Legislatively they’ve almost exclusively focused on what they could pass on a party-line basis (ARP, Build Back Better, ending voter ID) or try by executive action (student debt bailout).

The theory that we should replace Liz Cheney with another representative is both real and good.
The House GOP leadership has enabled white nationalism, white supremacy, and anti-semitism. History has taught us that what begins with words ends in far worse. @GOP leaders must renounce and reject these views and those who hold them.
