The general public are under the impression that survivors who received apologies from the Irish state received generous redress packages. This is not true. There were no safe guards in place to oversee, we received what was guaranteed
Random request if you have any celebrity contacts who would send a video message to Archie please do. It does not need to be public, they can be sent via private message.

Great stuff! Lovely to hear from a proud Traveller ally and hope we meet you soon too @lawrence_green1 Looking forward to traveller Pride this year- lots of great events and back to in-person celebrations again!
This was one of my fav videos from allies last year during #TravellerPrideWeek.
Guess what?
#TravellerPrideWeek kicks of next week 11th of July! Why not join our journey showing Travellers we are loved by sharing a tweet/video next week saying why you are a proud Traveller Ally.
Love this idea and looking forward to seeing the videos . We need more folks like @lawrence_green1 who are willing to learn, support and be an ally for Travellers. Nice one Lawrence😀✊💯🖤

Happy #TravellerPrideWeek! Over the past year I've begun to listen to Traveller activists online and learn more about Travellers' lives. I'm proud to now call myself a Traveller ally. Thanks to the unstoppable @Minceirbeoir for inviting me to share a little of my experience.
The work goes on after today. Concluding observations July 20th. In the interim the State will respond in writing on issues still not addressed, which clearly include perceptions of racial profiling and experiences of home searches. #ICCPRIreland#ITAJ
Again, main response of @DeptJusticeIRL to Travellers’ perceptions of racial profiling and experiences of home searches is to discuss initiatives to support Travellers in prison. Is there any appetite for considering the role of the CJS in producing these patterns? #ICCPRIreland
The Irish state acknowledges overrepresentation of #Travellers in prison system - but failed to address racism & bias in policing, and causes for disproportionate numbers in prison. State chose to emphasize support/rehabilitation for Travellers in prison #ICCPRIreland@ITAJinUL
As a CE worker and SIPTU member I want everyone to support the community sector strike today.
Workers at Irish Wheelchair Association will be on pickets. Community workers have had no payrise for 14 years.
We need to escalate strike action to bring the government to heel.
Still time to get your tickets and celebrate Eid with our Muslim Sisters and Brothers. It is such a beautiful way to show our respect and solidarity. ❤
