Even in their international coverage the @nytimes is wedded to the narratives that conservatives can lose overwhelmingly but still somehow win.
Yeah I really don't get people who are calling this a win for Bolsonaro or even the NY Times with this framing

I've only done a couple of these. It's just too hard. Choosing between Beatles songs can literally be painful for me! My chest gets all tight, and I feel a little nauseous. It's like being forced to pick a favorite kid! So screw you, Lucas, for putting me through this! 馃槈

This is absurd distortion of history The Young Patriots were socialists and anti-racists. They later stopped using the Confederate Flag, recognizing it was a symbol of oppression "MAGA" is nothing like them. It's a far-right, racist, imperialist movement
Replying to @jacksonhinklle
Agree !!!In 1969, the Panthers held a press conference in Chicago to commemorate the one-year anniversay of King's assassination and to announce the creation of the original Rainbow Coalition, which was made up of the BPP, Young Patriots (Confederate flag wearing southern whites)

Please retweet.. this is right NOW. Large numbers of West Coast households need to turn non-essential things off... Cetainly LA!
West Coast, in LA~ we just had an emergency alert on our phones that the state energy grid is under great strain, and that we should turn off or reduce non essential power, if health allows, now until 9pm. Power interruptions may occur if we don't take action. Happy to cooperate.

I was initially kind of upset over some of the GOT changes, (esp. Tyrion) but I understood, and got over it. Everything else in this thread is brilliant, though.
Tyrion Lannister was specifically described as "One green eye and one black one peered out from under a lank fall of hair so blond it seemed white". There was no outcry when he showed up in the show looking like this

And THIS is why DeSantis is more dangerous than Trump.
This is what rightwing Christian nationalism looks like. This is theocratic extremism from DeSantis, plain and simple. Using the Bible to attack your enemies, altering Biblical verses to attack your secular enemies, calling your opponents The Devil. Sick and dangerous stuff tbh.

In case you missed this last night, Bernie Sanders endorsed @LucasKunceMO! They may not line up on all the issues, but Bernie knows a genuine advocate for the working people of our country!
Before Missourians vote in tomorrow's Democratic U.S. Senate primary, I'm proud to have the support of a fighter for working people like @BernieSanders.

Missouri Democratic Senate candidates, on Citizens United: Billionaire @buschvalentine: 鈥淭ell me again what Citizens United is doing?鈥 Marine veteran @LucasKunceMO: 鈥淚 don鈥檛 think Citizens United should ever be said without the word 鈥榚nd鈥 in front of it.鈥

After Roe was overturned, Missouri became the first state to ban abortion. We all know who that falls hardest on 鈥 working people. It robs them of control over their own lives. Send me to the Senate, and I'll fight like hell to end the filibuster and guarantee abortion access.

MO needs a working class hero, not another wealthy elite establishment Dem. She represents everything that's wrong with the Democratic party. I'm voting @LucasKunceMO for #MOSen because he represents people like me, not the rich donor class.
Our latest TV ad hits hard. And here鈥檚 why: We cannot afford to let another Joe Manchin BUY their way into a Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate, just to lose by double-digits in November. Watch it, then let me tell you what鈥檚 happening in Missouri鈥

I鈥檓 @LucasKunceMO鈥檚 queer campaign manager. He's a 13-year Marine Veteran running for U.S. Senate. And last night I learned our opponent @BuschValentine dumped $1M into false attack ads claiming Lucas doesn't support my rights. Let me explain what's happening in Missouri鈥

Grateful for the support of Dr. @BarbaraBollier. With Roe overturned, it's never been more important to send Democrats to the Senate who are truly committed to ending the filibuster so we can codify abortion rights into law. I've campaigned on ending the filibuster since Day 1.

NEWS: St. Louis Post-Dispatch has endorsed Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate! The most widely circulated newspaper in Missouri is out with their endorsement of Marine veteran Lucas Kunce. #MOSen
THIS. IS. A. BIG. DEAL. "The contest among the top Democratic Party primary contenders for U.S. Senate is really no contest at all. Voters heading to the polls next Tuesday should enthusiastically support attorney and Marine veteran Lucas Kunce." stltoday.com/opinion/editori鈥

My favorite candidate of the cycle. @LucasKunceMO has serious accomplishments in the anti-monopoly space, which is unusual for a candidate.
My name is Lucas Kunce. I鈥檓 a 13-year Marine vet and the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination in Missouri鈥檚 Senate race. Our record-breaking grassroots movement has the lead heading into the August 2nd primary 鈥 but we could still lose. Let me explain why鈥
