Agreed, it is very unfortunate. Personally I have hurt my own economy not to mention all the days and even years spent trying to make this work. It's such a shame.

Thank you. It was actually more like the job choosing me, I am very fortunate. But it's good that I get out of this with something. A good job makes me feel better about how I spent the past 2 years. I wish you all the best as well.

I guess it's official.
I just got offered a well paid software engineering job today here in Denmark. I am officially withdrawing from ever trying to study in Japan again.
I want to say thanks to @rossi_davide for all the work he has done.

I am all for protests. It's important to lay down rules beforehand, however. Improving the image of students and workers is vital, and all it takes is one incident. If anyone on east coast US wants to meetup in NY or DC, or meet me and carpool there let me know.

invidious.fdn.fr/watch?v=1Paq17X6… Good news is that Omicron seems to be not that dangerous. So far it appears to be much more transmissible, but it has not led to more sick people in hospitals. It's speculation but based on current data. This could hopefully be positive for #japantravelban
