I love The Specials so much. Their debut album is one of my favorite records of all time. And if you aren’t familiar with The Colour Field, I highly recommend their debut, “Virgins and Philistines”. Terry Hall fronted both bands. I’ll miss him. RIP.

One of my favorite Angela Lansbury performances is in Frank Capra’s STATE OF THE UNION (1948). It’s a lesser- known (and underrated) Capra film, and Lansbury steals the movie from Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn.

Lenny Lipton’s The Super 8 Book was my bible when I was making short films as a kid in the 70s and 80s. He was an experimental filmmaker, a 3D pioneer, and he also wrote the poem that “Puff, the Magic Dragon” was based on. A real inspiration. Rest In Peace, Lenny.
