The Causeway Coast is famous for its giants. This giant creature was spotted near Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge this week. Although basking sharks can grow as big as seven tonnes, they only eat tiny creatures, typically smaller than a grain of rice!

It seems a standard desktop item but this inkstand helped write letters which shaped post-Napoleonic Europe. Companion to Viscount Castlereagh, it has returned to his home @NTmountstewart for a new exhibition which opens next Friday.

It was #CycleToWorkDay but @NTCastleWard it was also cycle at work day. The rangers regularly cycle around the estate to check and maintain the 34km of multi-purpose trails. There's always something that requires a little bit of TLC on the way.🚴♂️
Great to meet with @NationalTrustNI along with Alliance reps @CllrDavidLeeAP & Cllr Cadogan Enright. The National Trust are doing fantastic and important work across South Down, especially in restoring the Mournes post-wildfire.
