“While ordinary Kenyans must meet minimum educational requirements even for the most menial of civic jobs, political leaders are exempt from those ‘onerous’ requirements.” Well put, Kamotho Waiganjo.

How are these elected leaders bellow the rank of President, who are exempt from going to school expected to comprehend their duties and perform them? How are they to articulate relevant views on legislation and public policy? It is a CBC learn how to slaughter fowl mentality!

The Attorney General ought to appeal against the decisions removing a degree as an eligibility requirement for election of Governors, MPs and MCAs. What is the purpose of establishment of all these Universities if illiteracy is the qualification for elective leadership?

I'm no longer in support of CBC. I'm done. I'm not going to say "maybe if..." anymore. My position is we go back to 8.4.4, and we reform our own system, with our own teachers. It's ok if I'm alone. I've made my peace with this position. #educationcaptureKE

Credit Chief Justice Willy Mutunga for one thing amongst many. He loathed unnecessary ceremonies. As a result, Judges worked. They sat and determined cases.

It is 1.45pm and we are still logged in before a Judge since 9am. Is there no way the @Kenyajudiciary can undertake its “official duties” without disrupting access to Justice? And what other “official duties” are there that rank superior to the disposal of cases on dates given?

It is maladministration and gross violation of Article 10 and 27 (1) of the Constitution for State organs/officers to continue implementation CBC with the knowledge of the legal flaws in its development. It is even worse when they do so to frustrate a challenge of CBC in Court.

After 5 years of talking about CBC, @KCAUniversity is first university to invite me to discuss CBC. It came as a surprise, so I had to ask the person who called me if they were sure that they wanted me to be there. 😀

A sound reasoned judgment by the Supreme Court. However, recommendations on IEBC ignore vital causes of the dysfunction, necessitating legislative intervention: interference by State organs/officers and processes of recruiting of the 4 Commissioners which should be addressed.

We regret to inform that the CBC case scheduled for hearing tomorrow to Wednesday will not go on. The 3 Judges appointed by the CJ to hear the case will be away on official duties. Hopefully, an early hearing date will be given on 22-11-2022 when the case will be mentioned.

Another big score for the rule of law as Dr Miguna Miguna is issued his Kenyan Passport in Canada. The decree for the payment of damages of Kshs 7,000,000.00 by Fred Matiangi, Gordon Kihalangwa and George Konoti jointly and severally should now be enforced against the three.

Someone tell Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha that the hearing of the CBC matter is next week for three days. He is welcome to come submit in Court, in support of his position instead of continuing to mislead Kenyans on the biggest education scandal ever conceived.

The Kenyan tax payer should not be burdened by all those ‘late date’ unlawful appointments, financial commitments made and expenses incurred by the past administration. They should all be rescinded for illegality. Let the beneficiaries shoulder the burden of proving otherwise.

The AG and SG in the past administration abused their offices by procuring the President’s signature on the Executive Order directing that they must authorize State Corporations to procure for legal services. The Order enabled them to discriminately instruct their cronies.

Legal fraternity is the biggest beneficiary of President William Ruto’s Constitution implementation agenda. Swearing-in of 6 Judges and increased Judiciary Fund is the beginning. Next should be reversal of Executive Order curtailing Advocates from acting for State Corporations.

Havi is right. I have copies of affidavits sworn by the unions and the @EduMinKenya officials: they are full of lies and contradictions which would shock the Kenyan people. You won't believe that these guys are in charge of your children's education.
Henry Oyuu for KNUT on CBC: SG Wilson Sossion objected to CBC but after his ouster and replacement by myself as SG, CBC is supported. Exit Uhuru Kenyatta, same Henry Oyuu for KNUT: CBC is bad for students, parents and teachers and must be abolished. What a pendulumic teacher!

The sacking of Kenyatta University VC and the expropriation of its land for treatment (bribery) of voters and personal gain by State Officers in the past administration is an act of maladministration that should be reversed by the President through Cabinet. It must be pursued.
