When it comes to 'cross border cooperation', what about our shared N/S heritage? @noonan_malcolm?

These picturesque photos appear to show a Minister who cares about heritage, yet sadly not a ๐Ÿ‘€ from Ms Mallon about Knock Iveagh on her visit to South Down! Our #sharedheritage is more than a photo opportunity :( @deptinfra will be back in court this Monday @1030am
Fantastic to be back down at Narrow Water with @DarraghOBrienTD to update local stakeholders on the work being undertaken at pace to deliver the iconic Narrow Water Bridge. The SDLP won't be prevented from progressing transformative north south projects. infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/newโ€ฆ

To #ProtectNeolithicIreland from the deadly combination of private development & weak planning legislation, we need significant changes to law! @NicholaMallon @deptinfra has the power to implement these changes but they refuse to engage on the issue

Inch by inch, step by step - you will get there and our entire community will owe you a great debt of gratitude! Pathetic how public bodies turn the other way when remedial action is required to fix this mess - hopefully not for much longer ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Wind Turbine at Knock Iveagh should never have been allowed. It's an unlawful development! Destroying a 6,000 year old sacred Irish landscape! It must be removed & access to this assembly place must be restored #saveknockiveagh #ProtectNeolithicIreland

#TombTuesday The magnificent chamber of Maes y Felin #Neolithic tomb, St Lythans, on the outskirts of #Cardiff, which I used to frequent as a teenager. Seen in winter sunshine, 2020. The craggy mudstone chamber was once covered by a long cairn

#TombTuesday - Haroldstown Portal tomb, Acaun Bridge, Haroldstown, Co. #Carlow, Ireland. One of the finest portal tombs in the South East. I took this picture on the winter equinox 2019. The rising equinoctial sun shines through a small gap in the upright stones.

Goward is 50. I think Browne's Hill is the heaviest in the country.

At 80 tonnes I believe itโ€™s the heaviest in Ireland. The tourist info at the Dolmen claims itโ€™s the largest Neolithic capstone in Europe.
