Just a short explanation of my username for the non-Dutch speakers: it means 'ointment thrower', and is a play on the word 'kwakzalver' (meaning 'quack').
In Dermatology, we are famous for prescribing lots and lots of ointments and creams, hence the name Zalfkwakker!

A little bit more about my work (but I do not want to turn this account into @NLzorg1): I'm in my last year of my PhD, which consists mostly of clinical research (trials with novel treatments). Next year, I hope to finish my thesis and to start my Dermatology residency!

I do enjoy my PhD, but it feels like I aged twice as fast during this period.
