Right wing extremists have taken over an entire branch of government. Six ideologues on SCOTUS are stripping away our rights one by one. We can’t lose Congress to similar extremists in November. Giving MAGA Republicans another branch will expedite America’s fall into fascism.

Its great that Starbucks is offering reproductive healthcare for their employees. Too bad unionized employees are not entitled to these benefits along with other improved employee benefits. You can't have it both ways Starbucks. #UnionsForAll invidious.fdn.fr/watch?v=O1ycLMIh…

It’s a good thing the labor movement is on the rise. In a post-Roe world, the importance of collective bargaining power has gone up dramatically.

Employers publicly committing to pay travel costs for abortion is far from a solution. Who wants to have that conversation with their boss? Will it be kept confidential? There is no substitute for the protection of a collective bargaining agreement + union.

My friend's son left a job that paid $10/hr to one that was $15/hr and then again to one that's $19/hr. And he's 18 years old. Without rent or utilities or childcare to pay for. What these companies want their employees to accept is ridiculously laughable & sad at the same time.
Employers complaining about a “labor shortage” should take a long look in the mirror. It could be that you’re just a terrible employer.

You know you messed up when even the managers are struggling. Starbucks needs to be held accountable for their workers poor treatment, wages, and union busting tactics. #UnionsForAll

This past week has seen a repudiation of the court-based theory of change that has defined legal liberalism for several decades in the US: a theory that elite lawyers will always be able to use elite reasoning to persuade elite judges not to let things get out of hand.

The labor movement is currently perfecting the art of organizing, whether structure-based or momentum-driven. Its tactics aren’t new but modeled after histories of working women, people of color & abolitionists who built political power with strikes & boycotts, not just lawsuits.

We won't go back—it’ll take grit and resilience and all of us in this fight, but we will win. When I’m in the Senate, make no mistake: I will proudly vote to end the filibuster and pass the Women’s Health Protection Act to protect the right of all Ohioans to safe, legal abortion.
