Andromache becomes the 1st #WhiteShark to head S for the season, pinging in today off the Outer Banks! Last year she also made the move early, reaching the Outer Banks by the end of Oct. It'll be interesting to see if she continues her journey S or if she'll stop in NC for a bit.

We just passed the Fall Equinox and factors such as the seasons shifting and subtle changes in water temperature help trigger these animals to make a move. We will likely see more of our sharks making their transition south later this month and November.

After making an incredible journey across the Mid Atlantic Ridge, Nukumi hasn’t come to the surface for a quality ping on her SPOT tag since April 2021. However, her PSAT tag transmitted in May 2021 & showed that after crossing the ridge she made her way towards Newfoundland.
