Fantastic work by pupils from FSL and St. Dominic's at Stormont yesterday as part of the Politics in Action project. Pupils spoke to MLAs with passion and insight about mental health and RSE for young people. @veritaspolitic @RobbieButlerMLA @OrlaithiF_MLA @dhoneyford

The message was clear - addiction and poverty do not recognise borders We can learn from each other, from the experience of those on the ground across this island and work together to protect our communities, to support recovery and to reduce harm

There is currently still NO specialist psychiatric mother & baby unit anywhere on the island of #ireland where a #mother & her #baby can be admitted together. This is a priority campaign for @sinn_fein and one I’ll continue to work closely on until the @healthdpt can deliver this

West Belfast GP’s, hospital & community workers came together to map out how we can better support people struggling with mental health & addiction issues. We need the DUP to get back into government so we can get more money released into our communities & help improve services

The Protocol is necessary. Govts normally try to minimise the differences between their obligations under international law & domestic law. The Tories are doing the opposite. No Bill will justify their failure to perform its obligations in good faith under international law.

This motion - calling for a new @PassportIRL Office in the North of Ireland - has signatories from SF, FF, FG and Independent Senators. The growing momentum behind this call and the clear need for such an office can’t be ignored by Government any longer. @dfatirl @simoncoveney

Our political stability cannot be a hostage to Tory in-fighting. This and DUP boycott of Government is hurting the public at a time when we should have their backs. Boris Johnson’s threat to Protocol is to risk their entire agreement with EU on withdrawal & with colossal impact.

This is an important day. A new generation of Gaels will now get the opportunity to play at Casement Park. My colleague, Minister @DeirdreHargey is working at pace with Ulster GAA to progress this crucial project. It’s time to get casement built!

Today Sinn Féin stood with families seeking truth and justice, to oppose the outrageous British Government legacy proposals This #BillofShame if passed, will undermine the rule of law and human rights protections This is unacceptable

People are struggling to make ends meet as the cost of living rises We need an Executive now, to take urgent action to put money in people’s pockets and fix our health service The DUP and Boris Johnson are shamefully working together to deny democracy, and block a new Executive
