Clean pockets don't mean open receivers. Always go on 4th down. I hate your favorite team.

Who is number 19? “19 is from Wisconsin” That’s when you know you’re a UDFA 😂

Karlaftis . . . Elam Pickens Karlaftis looks like a home run pick thru one preseason game.
Which rookie impressed you the most in Week 1 of the preseason?

This is the future starting LG of the Cincinnati Bengals. Needs work on footwork, hand placement, among other things. But he wants it.
No practice for Collins today, but he’s staying long after to work on technique with the rookie Volson.

Brown was my favorite to be a backup swing man on the interior. Gotta get some vet help along the interior.
We have placed C Ben Brown on the Reserve/Injured list.

Pryor flew under the radar for 2 main reasons: Wisconsin was a run-heavy offense and never featured receivers. He also was undersized for an NFL receiver. But athleticism/explosiveness will almost always make it in the league.
Taylor describes Kendric Pryor as the most improved player from OTAs to present. Sounds like big praise.

Get Cordell Volson 1st team reps. Or call up my guy Quinton Spain.
Zac says LG spot far from solidified.

Dax Hill's name wasn't called a lot, but I love what I saw from him in regards to his play recognition, first step and explosiveness...especially when coming from centerfield.

Can't read too much into tendencies just yet, but for those curious, here's how they broke down in Week 1: 3rd down: 14 pass, 3 run Redzone: 5 pass, 5 run Short Yardage: 2 pass, 6 run Goalline: 1 pass, 4 run

It's going to be really fun to see how PFF Grades/stats shake out after a few preseason games for some rookies who moved around: Dax Hill: snaps in the box (8), Slot (8), Wide Corner (3), Free Safety (23) Zachary Carter: DLT (22), DRT (33), LE (1), RE (4), Box (1).

Karlaftis was my big winner in preseason week 1. Honorable mention: Kaiir Elam and George Pickens.
George Karlaftis in his debut: ♦️ 13 pass-rushing snaps ♦️ 4 pressures ♦️ 1 sack ♦️ 31% win percentage

Cleveland vs decent humans everywhere
Joel Bitonio believes the #Browns will be booed wherever they go like when Deshaun Watson took the field in Jacksonville. “It seems now more than ever, it’s Cleveland against the world. We’ll be ready for it”

The thing I love so much about Volson is how quickly he gets out of his stance and gets hands on his defender. By no means am I saying he's ready to start, but LG feels like it should be a fairly open competition.

Good morning. It is a fantastic day to get Cordell Volson more reps against higher level competition.

95 keeps popping when the Bengals defense is on the field. If I was to have a preseason game 1 overreaction, it would involve me comparing Zach Carter to Calais Campbell.
