I think the billionaire tax is a soundbite. Most billionaires don't have an income, they live off of investments and bank loans, investments paying off the loans. Just another tax loophole.
A better solution IMO is scrapping the current tax system and going with a flat tax.

Why are we placing everyone on medicare at 65? That is an automatic expense to the tax payer. 65, no matter how high your income or wealth.
There should be means testing for qualifying for medicare/ aid.
I heard on the news today that there is an effort to bring drug makers back from overseas.
Where do you think they are talking about moving to?

I don't understand why everyone is automatically enrolled in medicare as soon as their 65. That is a huge draw down of benefits.
They should remove those whose retirement or wealth income, well above most retired people put them in a position to pay for their own ins.
