US Capitol complex was closed to the public on Jan. 5 because of Covid restrictions — that’s why it would have been abundantly obvious when tour groups passed through places like Statutory Hall or the Rotunda.

The bill would also require that formula manufacturers have contingency plans for protecting against disruptions in supply in the event of a recall. It passed with a large bipartisan majority of 414 to 9.

Whatever topic they’re faking outrage about this week..will be exactly what they vote against next week. It’s all political theater for their low IQ voters.

The fact that Republicans refused to vote for baby formula funding is proof that babies starving is a price they’re willing to pay for a talking point in midterms.

@harrisonjaime let’s hope this gets hammered home. This and the fact they voted down help to lower gas prices.

“They voted against baby formula for starving babies” is easy political “messaging” and I’ll bet you never see democrats reference it again

That's definitely not hard to believe from Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) that he led.

OOPS! #LoudermilkLied “A MOC accusing another Member of committing a crime, without evidence, is morally reprehensible & a stain on this institution. No GOP MOC led any kind of ‘reconnaissance’ tours through the Capitol, proven by security footage captured by the U.S. CP"

Also evidence that Republicans on House Admin lied about it.

It's actually worse than that. Loudermilk on a committee that told the 1/6 committee that no tours had been given... then he went on to open ethics complaints against Democrats who said they saw tours being given.

Loudermilk was on the committee who initially reviewed capitol tapes and denied there were any reconnaissance tours. "However, the Select Committee’s review of evidence directly contradicts that denial."

It would be useful to know who went on Loudermilk's tour of the Capitol If it was members of OathKeepers or the PB it will look very bad for Loudermilk, it will look like sedition I think that all the GOP knew something was being planned to delay or prevent cert. on Jan 6th
