I don't think ill ever get over the fact that a few years ago I could have packed my bags and gone live, work or study anywhere within 27 countries as easy as moving to another city and now I'm stuck on plague island thanks to the Tories. What a betrayal for the next generation

The @ICRC recently published an updated position on #nuclearweapons ➡️It is extremely doubtful that #NW could ever be used in accordance with #IHL ➡️The use or threat of #NW is abhorrent to the principles of #humanity and dictates of public conscience. international-review.icrc.or…

I am far more afraid that we cannot sustain adequate emissions than I am of climate change. Sinks are increasing faster than emissions. Previous interglacials were warmer, CO2 & CH4 did not increase despite much more thawing of permafrost & warmer oceans. cp.copernicus.org/articles/1…

NEW research from China's National Climate Center, described for @CarbonBrief by its director: China has enough wind & solar potential to generate 95,837TWh, an almost unimaginably large figure 13x China's electricity use in 2020 & 4x global demand 1/ carbonbrief.org/guest-post-c…

Goebbels would be proud of you for following his post-referendum script. We are the patriots fighting the tax-dodging rich bastards and their little fascist tools who are trying to force #Brexit on Britain.

Cancel all you want. Personally I’d rather give people a hand up and listen to see if they have a valid asylum claim.

Well at least Brexit is good for something then. We should be welcoming refugees, they’ll contribute to the economy. What we do need to happen though is a redistribution of wealth and investment in infrastructure. Our enemy is not the asylum seeker.

You said Brexit was the answer. It wrecked the UK, divided millions of families (including mine) & by trashing the Dublin Agreement - the crossings tripled. Trashing Churchill's legacy by leaving the ECHR edges us ever closer to fascism. No wonder you support it.
