Correct. Save it for the teachers lounge/bar 😀
PSA for professors: I promise that all of your students look at your social media. All of them. So when you post something about students getting answers wrong to make fun of/embarrass them, they see it. & it is hurtful. Been seeing this often & it is never okay. Do better.

I do this. Many students don’t realize it’s a gift. And when other faculty don’t, they don’t see how they’re setting students up for failure. Writing is an iterative process. And the idea that 1 or only 2 drafts is enough is wild for famous writers— let alone grad students.

Don't put activism before facts @samswey. You're twisting their message on both counts and you know it.
National Police Association opposes vaccine mandates for police even though Covid is responsible for 71% of officer deaths this year. Now they’re framing “anti-police” sentiment as the major threat to their safety and telling people to “stop filming” them? blackburn.senate.gov/2021/11…

Why not lower taxes all 7 days of the week?
We must do more to incentivize NYers to shop locally. That's why I have a plan to create Tax-Free Tuesdays, a weekly sales tax holiday on services & products that are more likely to be paid for in-person to incentivize NYers to spend locally. Learn more ⬇️ ericadams2021.com/erics-econ…

An example of why police are often forceful and quick to act. Action beats reaction. It used to be they'd rather face a lawsuit than death/serious injury. Now, it's debatable which is worse considering the political climate.

You can be mad but I guess I don’t personally view my car as an extension of myself and I’ve never really felt violated any of the 15 or so times my car was broken in to. Once a guy accidentally left a cool knife in my car so if it keeps happening you might get a little treat.

Jury in the Arbery case got it right, as did the jury in Rittenhouse case. Jurors (average Americans) had the intelligence and honesty to make the right decision based on evidence—not race or politics. This undermines the ‘woke’ narrative that Americans are stupid and racists.

Interesting take. @TheNextMartha, can you verify their races/genders? I looked for a full frame photo but this just looks like an Adobe stock photo. If it is two white people, isn't that fairly representative of the racial demographics of your district? (61% White)
Oh look, it’s my school district using a tone deaf image to represent white men getting the job done. Do better @Naperville203 Be bold, not blind. #BeBold203

I never want to hear of a police officer hesitating to fire into a fleeing vehicle again. If protestors arrive after the fact, so too should we. A civil society requires civilized people to defend those that keep it civil, and I believe we’ve failed to do that.
