This is a real chance to do things differently. Transporting millions of employees into small areas at the same time is an inefficient use of time and resources. If not WFH then a more distributed workplace structure seems to be a sensible solution. Also helps local services.
There are advantages and disadvantages to working from home… but the PM telling people they must add high commuting costs to their already spiralling outgoings, isn’t the clever culture war win that he thinks it is…

How? Maybe they genuinely thought the other songs were better.
Absolutely appalling that the Uk jury didn’t give a single point to Ukraine

You are trolling, Redwood. You know perfectly well that the government you are part of signed up to the deal that brought this about. Nothing to do with branches in RoI. Everything to do with avoiding a hard border across Ireland.
Will the EU tell us why a U.K. supermarket with no branches in the Republic of Ireland has to face extensive additional checks on deliveries to shops in Northern Ireland?
You know what's going to happen now πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Crisp eating on trains. Should be banned. That's all.

They all hate us anyway. Eurovision is as much about voting for favourite friends as it is the songs. Greece/Cyprus being the most obvious example.

Making it sound like he's doing 90,000 people a favour.
Government departments are full of empty desks. At the same time, the private sector is suffering from labour shortages. It's not unreasonable to shift some people from the revenue-consuming bit of the economy to the revenue-generating bit.
