After almost 5 years I've decided it's time for a change. It was a great time at @BlindflugStudio and I learned a lot working with these amazing people. I wish all the best for the team and as for me... I'll be back soon to create more games! But first I'll take a short break ;)

This is so true. Especially making the game for multiple platforms and multiplayer (best multiple multiplayer providers and architectures). A lot of bad practices (static classes and singletons etc.) goes unnoticed when developing only for one platform/version.
Ok, here is what @unity3d need to do imho... It's a big thread! BUCKLE UP as the boomers say! 1) Make *games*. Not tech demos. Not huge money making games that are competing with their developers (a huge reason they have said multiple times why they do not make games)

There's a new Preset Manager! It allows you to set import settings for range of files using glob patterns docs.unity3d.com/Manual/clas… One issue is it works only for new files. To "reimport" you can either use Reset or write a custom importer. #unity3d #unitytips #gamedev #indiedev
