Lumpy skin disease in animals is threatening the livestock in Punjab with 160 already dead, 12000 infected. Govt seems to be oblivious to the situation.
It must compensate the owners of the dead cattle besides take all the preemptive and remedial measures on emergency basis.
Five heads of cattle have died every day in #Punjab due to lumpy skin disease since July 4 this year, when the first such case was reported in the state.
