As culturally significant as single-player IP’s are to Sony, they’ll need to branch further into the FPS/Multi-Player sphere if they expect to rival Xbox on that turf - with titles like Call of Duty, Halo and DOOM now exclusive to Xbox, PlayStation will need to act fast

Still undecided; though, with securing a cost of $70b, there’ll likely be some sort of extensive exclusivity for Xbox in reaction. It’s all a bit inscrutable, time is the only answer

We can theorise all we’d like regarding exclusivity; however, I doubt the folks at Xbox have a clear idea for how to exactly manage these franchises, presently. I’d personally treat any promises made now loosely; they’ve laid their first stone, what matters most is what’s next

They aren't going to make exclusive game just for xbox it will be for all, but there will be some exclusive unfortunately 😕

Do they even have the money on hand to do so? Seems like they don't.

imagine playstation buys ubisoft and makes a socom and killzone multi

But ubisoft just announced the new rainbow 6 as a day one gamepass game and are bringing ubisoft+ to xbox consoles. Exactly the opposite move seems more likely at this moment in time.
