If you are a Frontier FIOS customer, they have apparently invented two new surcharges that they are billing you for: 1. "Secure Device Fee" $4.99 /month 2. "Internet Infrastructure Fee" (to cover peering costs!!) $6.99/ month Question: Have you been able to get them removed?

Gotta love how they remove one fee and state the other is "a valid fee". So the first was not "valid"? 🀨

He maybe lacks a rental modem/router? Seems like this may be an extra tax on anyone using one of those.... Rent our router and we'll charge you $5/mo extra to keep it secure. πŸ™„ It's like cable TV, they tell you it's $20 extra, then you bill goes up by $50 due to 'fees'.

I so prefer my local ISP… $70/month. No hidden fees. No gimmicks. And if they change their rates it’s done globally and publicly and not slipped in to the next bill. Oh and no contracts. Not even on my business account (but I’ve been when them for >7 years on GigFiber)

Are you in the US? Super hard to do in the US since there are lots of local, county, state 'fees' then you get the federal 'fees' that the telco can charge back to the customer.
