When Yousif and Younis came to a RI-supported health center in #Yemen, they were both suffering from Whooping Cough. They were each given specialized treatment, and eventually made a full recovery! “Seeing my children in good health means the world to me,” says their mother.

Abeer used to find it hard to walk, sit and climb steps. Several months ago, she came to the @UOSSM center in #Turkey with her mother for help. Physiotherapists worked with Abeer to improve her mobility, and now she is able to stand, walk, move and keep her balance on her own!

Power cuts in #Lebanon have impacted everyone, but have been especially dangerous in the country’s hospitals and health facilities. To help, RI has installed #solar panels at the health facilities it supports, limiting the amount of time these buildings go without power.

Getting water from boreholes is an issue in Zam Zam camp, #Sudan. Some run dry, while others are difficult to use because of the hand pumping required. To help, RI upgraded 9 borehole in the camp to run on solar power. Now they guarantee 9 hours of uninterrupted water!
