Howard Schultz is embarrassing himself. He obviously cannot read a room. Whining about don't hate me because I'm a billionaire. It's unfair. @SenSanders is not having it and cuts him off. GOOD.

Lol idk when the last time a company organized? Last time we checked only workers could do that 👀 but go off
Labor unions can be necessary to protect workers under bad employers, but there are also legitimate reasons companies would not choose to unionize. It's purely self-interest for Democrats to find every possible way to extend unions, sometimes against the interests of employees.

Hey @tim_cook we hope your watching your fellow billionaire @HowardSchultz get busted for union-busting. Because if you keep using @Starbucks' same union-busting playbook at @Apple, you're going to end up in the same hot seat.

A Federal judge found that Starbucks has violated labor law "hundreds of times." These aren't "allegations" @NPR.

Jaysin is my guy. He and I were the 2 organizers in Georgia to be fired by Starbucks for our activity. He is incredibly tough and he's an amazing representative to testify against Howard Shultz during his senate hearing @SBWorkersUnited @SBWUAtlanta
.@SenSanders asks Maggie Carter and Jaysin Saxton what they make of Schultz's account that @Starbucks does not engage in union busting. Jaysin Saxton lays it out 👇

Republicans said they really didn't want to defend Starbucks and its liberal latte co-founder Howard Schultz. But they sure did in Wednesday's hearing on union-busting. "The Only Good Friends Howard Schultz Could Find In Washington Were Republicans" huffpost.com/entry/howard-sc…

You’re wrong @HowardSchultz. The union waived its right to bargain over credit card tipping, yet you’re still punishing union workers in Minnesota by blocking credit card tips – which drives down their wages by ~$4/hr. That’s not working in good faith.

A vote like this is UNPRECEDENTED and highlights just how worried shareholders are about Starbucks' behavior towards our union under Howard Schultz’s leadership.

Today, it is clear that Starbucks is facing the consequences of their actions. Between workers, customers, US Senators, federal judges and now shareholders, Starbucks is beginning to be held accountable.

No one “earns” a billion dollars.
Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz complains about Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) “unfair” labeling of him as a billionaire: “I came from nothing … Yes, I have billions of dollars — I earned it. No one gave it to me. And I’ve shared it constantly with the people of Starbucks.”

All of those corporate representatives were wearing shirts that said "We Belong Together," but they wouldn't even stay to hear us speak.
hearing room was full of corporate representatives and managers while howard was testifying. when the workers take the panel, they’re nowhere to be found. but obviously they care about what the workers have to say.
