The US far behind Europe still, and it’s no coincidence that the UK, where so much Russian money lives, has done so little. Corruption is the only word for it. If they expose it, they will be implicated themselves.

@BBCNews⁩ well done for supporting this family. This poor little girl so unwell and we here in the UK can’t treat this cancer. Please tell us how we can support this family.
£4.4bn worth of fraudulent claims during COVID, Minister resigns as GOV doesn’t support going after. Even if we went after 70% could that not relieve the less well off paying more NI?

I feel this may be the greatest single clip of TV ever made. Reduces me to tears every time I watch to the end.
Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. In 1938, Sir Nicholas Winton brought Jewish children from German-occupied Czechoslovakia to safety in the UK. Fifty years later, That’s Life reunited him with some of those children.

I met with Rolls-Royce last week to ask if there was any prospect of a Scottish bid for £200m investment in a new Heavy Pressure Vessel factory. They told me that they had ruled out Scotland due to Scottish Government opposition to civil nuclear energy. What a missed opportunity.
UPDATE: Rolls-Royce's small modular reactor (SMR) consortium is set to build a new £200 million factory in the UK. The group has approached several of England’s regional development bodies and the Welsh government inviting them to pitch for the manufacturing site. #UKmfg🇬🇧
