Does anyone on here who has, uh, neurotic tendencies have a tip for meditating that doesn’t just make you feel like you’re having a 10-minute obsession party in your head, but with chimes?
Binaural beats or isochronic tones on headphones helped me, google it but be aware some of the youtube vids with them are awful. I prefer a couple of aps. Also, I do better with guided meditations and someone telling me what to think about rather than trying not to think...
That's great you have one they like. I have an app called SleepStream binaural beats + you can layer different ambient sounds. For guided meditation, I like this guy's channel. Some of it is cheesy but damn if he doesn't have a great Irish accent…
