Two real-world studies confirm that the immune protection offered by two doses of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine drops off after two months or so, although protection against severe disease, hospitalization and death remains strong. cnn.it/3lqt7O9

In this 900,000-participant study in Qatar, vaccine effectiveness peaked at 77.5% in the first month after the second dose. The effectiveness fell to as low as 20% in months 5 through 7 after vaccination. #Covid19vaccine #IDTwttier nej.md/3DiHJoA

The evidence of mRNA vaccine effectiveness (VE) waning grows: large Qatar experience shows substantial 5 month attrition for symptomatic infection VE below 50% and, to a lesser extent, vs hospitalization and death medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Here are the data over time for VE vs infection and hospitalization/death. For latter, relatively few cases after 20 weeks, wide and overlapping 95% confidence intervals, so decline in protection from hospitalization is uncertain, not statistically significant

Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, the list of where this is happening goes on...what are we supposed to do when you have the young people either in mass exodus, living in suffocating conditions, or protesting and dying. How do you rebuild? What's left?
Replying to @neubadah
When you continuously quash the dreams, ambition, and spirit of the youth in a society, you suffocate and doom an entire generation.
