I get it. But outside hires doesn’t always equal success either. Inside hires allows you get someone with knowledge of players strengths. Just have to hope the schemes change while fitting the strengths.

That's true but cant hire from within all the time. If Teryl gets it then I hope he actually does something good as DC... we haven't a good DC for a very long time. And we need a good OC too. #FireCanada

I will say this…. Keith Butler produced a team that led the league in sacks 5 years. For years the issue was the DBs. Now we have fairly decent DB group. And once the line is healthy and we improve on ILB we could be ok. But what is it you’d like to change scheme-wise?

Not always playing man to man coverage , stop having our defensive guys 10 yds off of the WRs that's just irritating to me. Make adjustments when needed etc
