This hawk is just trying to chill despite the four circling mockingbirds who keep flying into the back of its head to drive it away.

I'm watching someone replace a car's windshield across the street and it is delightful. A whole process of specialized actions with specialized tools, none familiar to me even though the task itself is one I can easily grasp.
Wish I could go to this. Both books are terrific and a kind of landscape-engaged fiction I wish I saw more of from US publishers.
