Would automakers be investing in electric vehicles if consumers didn’t want them? Why then are so many Republican politicians pushing increased fossil fuel dependency? 🤔💰

To our friends in #Texas - check out this wonderful opportunity to work with @LizaWiemer!👇
I would love to connect with upper middle school (7th and 8th) and high school librarians and teachers in Houston! I’ve been invited to speak about THE ASSIGNMENT at the end of October & would love to come to more schools! Twitter friends, please share! 😍

There aren’t enough Yvon Chouinards in the World. What a bad ass!
Hey, friends, we just gave our company to planet Earth. OK, it’s more nuanced than that, but we’re closed today to celebrate this new plan to save our one and only home. We’ll be back online tomorrow. nytimes.com/2022/09/14/clima…

While other Republicans are running from abortion because they know it’s a loser for them. This guy just wants us to know it was never about States rights and always about Republican politicians dictating your healthcare.
NEW: Senate Republicans led by @GrahamBlog are introducing a national ban on abortions later in pregnancy tomorrow.

Only in The US will moderately poor people point the finger at more impoverished people as the problem and not the plutocrats that control everything.

Ringing light to truth. We need more people calling out the hypocrisy.
Remember when you were trying to fundraise off the election lie that nearly collapsed the peaceful transfer of power for the first time in our nation’s history? Or when you agreed with Trump that Congresswomen of color should “go back to where they came from”? Such unity.

For HCWs combating COVID-19 was the biggest and most heartbreaking challenge many had faced. Having an openly hostile legislature made it nearly impossible. I will never understand the motivation to willingly spread dangerous misinformation. propublica.org/article/monta…

It’s time to rethink public transportation, community design and our dependence on personal cars. We all don’t need our own car to drive to work everyday just because someone told us that was our only option a couple decades ago.

Driving down to Gardiner to escape the heat and saw some new roadside banners. “Save your guns, vote Republican.” “Save your kids, vote Republican.” Drives home how the GOP uses. Hot button issues to commit all sorts of societal harms.

There are way more issues facing Montanans, and we should all be angered by the inaction our elected officials. They’re not working for us.

It’s time to stop stigmatizing addiction. Pointing out someone’s illness to score political points is definitely not cool. There are plenty of nefarious actions to vilify them with like stealing from children with cancer. Let’s focus on that @DonaldJTrumpJr

I’m ashamed of our reps here in Montana (except for Jon Tester). Rosendale: On vacation at the US border. Daines: patiently waiting for the next GOP talking point. Gianforte: Carefully selecting participants for his next “townhall meeting.” It’s time they worked for us.

Republicans are up in arms about Biden’s speech last night. The people they should be angry at are all the members of the GOP that have manipulated them with the purpose of regaining power no matter what the cost to the nation. #SoulOfTheNation

We need non-violent drug offenders who spent years of their life doing prison labor for pennies to testify to Congress that the slavery loophole in the 13th amendment must be closed, and that the War on Drugs is a war against minorities and the poor.

It’s no wonder that we are facing an adolescent mental health crisis. Amongst other issues, kids face the very real possibility that their school will be the next mass shooting. And the lawmakers and police officers that are supposed to be protecting them do nothing.

How are they supposed to feel when the people that can make a difference would rather protect the weapons that are causing them the most harm?

The GOP is too busy playing the identity politics to actually come up with a plan on how they will improve the country. I Montana there is zero effort in fixing the issues most important to constituents. For them, it’s all about towing the line.
