Ahead of tonight's speech @ChathamHouse the Attorney says: “The threat from cyber-attacks is very real and these attacks have caused chaos around the world. But cyberspace is not lawless. Tonight, I’ll be setting out the UK’s view on what constitutes unlawful cyber behaviour.”
Asked whether the government will be breaking the law if they unilaterally scrap or ignore parts of the NI Protocol, Attorney General @SuellaBraverman says the foreign secretary has made it clear that the action proposed has a 'lawful basis'.

However, by this first trial, we are sending a clear signal that every perpetrator, every person who ordered or assisted in the commission of crimes in Ukraine shall not avoid responsibility.
We have over 11000 ongoing cases of war crimes and already 40 suspects. I am confident that in the nearest future we will see other cases being transferred to courts and perpetrators appearing before judges. We will ensure that these cases are brought to their logical end.
