GOOD MORNING to all of you who continue to wear a mask in indoor public spaces. I see you and I appreciate you. Thank you for protecting our elders, our little ones and our most vulnerable. Seeing your masked faces gives me hope in humanity 🙏🏽

I am BEGGING @Zoom to make captions accessible. I am TIRED of asking meeting hosts to enable captions. This has gone on for far too long and I am completely out of patience. I shouldn't have to beg for access. 🤬

The moment Roe falls, every woman and girl in this country who values being able to make decisions about her own body should stop working in the largest coordinated protest in U.S. history that brings the entire nation and economy to a standstill. They’d reimplement it in a week.

LAUSD (Los Angeles Public Schools) had 50,000 students test positive for COVID this week. That is not a typo. Fifty thousand. They still aren't mandating masks.

Donald Trump was accused of raping a 13 year old girl with Jeffrey Epstein. Her name was Katie Johnson. Katie received death threats for speaking out, and her case was suddenly dropped. Soon after, Trump became President. Why was this story brushed under the rug so quickly?

Last night I was the emcee for an event that centered Queer racialized women. It was fkn amazing. Until an off-duty cop showed up near the end of the night as an attendee and physically assaulted me in the middle of the club... 1/

If you live in a majority Black community in Georgia and your casting an early ballot. Carpool with your people and drop off your ballot in a majority white area so they won't discount your vote. Think strategically. #FreshWords

I repeat my annual plea during AAPI Heritage Month. Let this be the year folks stop misappropriating Hawaiian culture. No more luau themes. Lūʻau are real things for us. No more ridiculous "hula girl" costumes. Hula is also a real tradition and discipline for us. 1/

We need to bring back mask mandates. Schools, planes, indoor spaces.. everywhere. There was ZERO reasons to remove them. This is all spiraling out of control

The Former President calling for a CIVIL WAR is way beyond screaming fire in a theater. Especially after he incited an actual attack on our Capitol. This is the part where law enforcement and three letter agencies need to step in.

A story that's not getting enough national attention: Here in the Myrtle Beach, S.C. area for the past 13 years, the FBI and local law enforcement officials left the impression that a white girl on vacation was abducted by a 16-year-old black dude who did evil things to her. 1/

Oh yeah. I'm told by my doctor it's normal because we (in general/society) don't realize how much energy we burn simply being alive, forget eating/drinking/talking. I've done it. My energy was just that limited. Often at my sickest or soon after. Run down physically & mentally.

When people say “Getting Covid is inevitable, why not get it over with?” My response is, “death and aging are inevitable too, and look at the lengths we all go to avoid those.” #LongCovid #MECFS

No disabled person should ever apologize for wanting access. No disabled person should ever apologize for wanting accommodation. No disabled person should ever apologize for wanting civil rights. No disabled person should ever apologize for wanting justice.

When rent is $2,000 for a one bedroom and gas is $6 a gallon and every trip to the grocery store costs too much it’s a good time to realize that we could have a world where it doesn’t cost money just to survive
