For those of you espousing people should go back where they came from, I suggest you a) examine your own heritage and b) really examine why farmers' fields are left to rot at harvest. Unlike of course you're prepared to do one of the jobs *they stole".

For the record, neither Crozier (my maiden name), nor Flintham (my married name) are English, and if you study languages, English isn't even its own language. Migeation and invasion populated these islands. Can we stop being racist now?
The British people need to hear from @trussliz to explain why she has crashed the bond foreign exchange and tick markets and soon the housing market caused interest rates to likely surge to 5% or more and caused a giant recession in the first three weeks there is no place to hide

The immediate future is bleao. Either Truss really believes, in her economics, which don't work, or, and the or is important, the doesn't and wants to make a mess. Either way, the British people are not at the heart. Haven't been for 12 years, and it needs to stop #EnoughIsEnough

Financial markets are expecting massive cuts in public spending come November. The Tufton Street attack on the welfare state is about to reach full throttle. Their aim will be that little will survive.

#TheWeekInTory 1. We begin with our new leader, Margarine Thatcher, who in only 3 weeks has become PM, finished off The Queen, taken 2 weeks away from work, ruined our relations with the US, crashed the economy, and started backbench rebellion to remove her from office

This crash under Truss is now worse than black monday in 1987 under Thatcher and black wednesday in 1992 under Major. So the 3 worst crashes in modern British history were under @Conservatives governments, but we are still told that @UKLabour can't be trusted with the economy

Labour Conference passed a motion calling for Proportional Representation! Now we need @Keir_Starmer to make sure that this commitment is in the next Labour manifesto. I've just signed a petition calling for this manifesto commitment. Will you join me? actionnetwork.org/petitions/鈥

Just found this phone lying in the road near St Albans. Will hand it in at police station, unless Twitter does its magic thing and finds the owner before I get there鈥.

Thank you to Andy for highlighting this. I've just voted for the first time too. The Tories need to keep their noses out. #GTTO.
1. National Trust @nationaltrust. Another target of the Tories in trying to pervert every corner of our lives. Been a member for years; pay a sub by SO. Visit a couple of properties a year (if I'm lucky). Haven't had the slightest interest in its governance. Until now....

Everything is now for sale. They're no longer trying to hide it. They've taken a wrecking ball to the UK. Write to your MP -about the rivers, fracking, bankers, energy bills -all of it. Flood their inboxes. We have to stop this govt before it's too late.
鈿狅笍馃槨Make no mistake, we are angry. This Government has today launched an attack on nature. We don鈥檛 use the words that follow lightly. We are entering uncharted territory. Please read this thread. 1/13

Why has the government awarded a 拢48m contract to Fujitsu to upgrade the Police National Computer? Fujitsu developed Horizon, the IT that led to the wrongful conviction of hundreds of subpostmasters for fraud (cost to UK taxpayer c拢1bn).

Just a quick shout out to all those journalists who mocked @BylineTimes coverage of the conflict of interest between ministers making market moving decisions, and their hedge fund donors who cashed in on them.

I studied economics at the same Oxford college as Liz Truss and don't recall anyone there giving the remotest credence to trickle down economics. We all know it's a lie. We knew then and we know now.

My mum was one of the early victims. #CovidIsntOver for me, and never will be. A scary death for her, traumatic for me. I didn't get to grieve. 2陆 years on, very few Covid bereaved have been able to grieve. We understand the virus now, but must never be complacent about it.
Whatever anyone thinks, it's never over for a covid bereaved person. #CovidIsntOver I stand with 200,000 families, because I don't want them to go through what I did. Except they've been forced to.
