A Florida court has denied a parentless 16-year-old permission to have an abortion because she's not "mature" enough. Previously, they denied a 17-year-old an abortion because her GPA was too low.
The state is forcing these teens to give birth.

When workers are paid better and have to spend less time and energy wondering how they're gonna get by, they're happier and perform better at work, and other parts of their lives too!

Walmart says paying their workers higher wages is paying off.
After giving an hourly wage raise to 565,000 workers last fall, "we've seen labor productivity metrics improve" across stores and warehouses, Walmart's CFO said on the firm's earnings call today.

The interim DA is halting even the Restorative Justice program, which centers repairing the harm to victims. SMH. 😡😤😡
Restorative Justice has been found to be more effective at repairing harms done than the carceral system. Whether halting this program is an attempt to rebrand or to possibly water it down, @BrookeJenkinsSF decision is harmful and counterproductive.
