So I bought 3x #Scart to JPN #RGB21 converters from @retro_cables and experienced major audio buzzing relative to screen brightness. Typical Ground issue. Let's pop them open..

It turns out their Ground connection is nothing short of a joke. The (anemic) wire is barely hanging by a thread, and the other end solely makes contact by pressure and isn't even _soldered_. Wtf.

After replacing with a proper wire and actually soldering to the shield, buzzing was reduced 80%. Also realised RGB21 ground pins 4/8/14 aren't even connected at all..

Interestingly the picture looked great, only audio was heavily distorted / buzzing. Had to scar the shielding like a madman for solder to actually stick. @Voultar any tips to make it easier to solder to such surfaces ?
