Me and my 13 year old son literally discussed this yesterday. We were talking about how epic it must have been in a heroic last stand, Thermopylae and the like. We all owe that death debt, but to die so gloriously must make that medicine go down so much smoother.
All men unconsciously want to die in a glorious battle, but don’t know it. Everyday that passes, we fill this void of pain with grand endeavor. Some of which quell this feeling for some time, but ultimately, we still go to bed at night, wondering why we feel unfulfilled.

I’ve never needed Twitter to find advice on masculinity. I honestly think my entire archetype of a man was developed watching movies in which the character spoke to something deep in me that I wanted to emulate. LoTR, Gladiator, Troy, etc.

So much for Judeo-Christian values, et cetera. It appears some see Jesus as a threat? 🧐
Wow this is crazy. New bill in Israel would ban people from sharing the Gospel of Jesus. If you talk about Jesus in Israel, you’d face prison time.

I wish these dorky erudite RW(ish) Tweetlords, that I respect so dearly, put out some kind of reading lists or even a Book Club TM. @martyrmade @bronzeagemantis @Babygravy9 @0x49fa98 et cetera.

Would you bang the right one once to bang the left one a million times?

Why don’t we drink wine from the skulls of our defeated enemies anymore? That should make a return.

Georgia’s parliament tried to pass a law to bring the activities of foreign NGOs under democratic control. Then - what a coincidence! - protests following the script of every color revolution in the last 20 years sprang up and forced the government to drop the new law.
Georgia is about to have its own Maidan. Thanks USA, you are about to try to destroy another sovereign nation.

Almost 15 years in, and just learned this yesterday. Seems to make a noticeable difference.

From humble beginnings; there is a way. Oddly enough, the same process seems to be able to work in most aspects of life. Fulfilling gym goals teaches a valuable life lesson. Don’t avoid it’s message, the recipe for success seems lined in the fabric of our universe, really.
