That the perp was also disabled also reminds me of how I got groped at school once by a disabled student. I retaliated by kicking his shin to get him to stop - but bc he was disabled and I was an honors student (I was unaware of my autism at the time) ->

Piggybacking here and adding my long thread on all the links and court cases, for easy fact-checking by anyone questioning the validity:
A special needs girl in Texas whose mental capacity is the age of 6 years old, was raped inside her HS in Nov. 2021. The school district said she gave consent by walking down the hallway with the boy. So he got 3 days suspension & a grand jury decided not to press charges.
