We urgently need a public communication campaign about what rapid tests actually tell you. As I understand, they are good for telling if your coughing and fever is covid, or if you were infectious a few days ago. Do not tell a group of people they are now safe to socialise.

Even if everyone were using RATs before socialising every time, the chart shows why we still need substantial behaviour change: much less frequent socialising, smaller numbers, outside, (now voluntary) contact tracing and isolation, etc. That's not the message we are hearing.
