Valid point. Uber Lyft need to provide phones & cameras if they will start letting random strangers in cars again. The crime potential is awful. Taxis rarely allow anyone in front seat ever! And taxi has a divider as a mandatory protection. Rideshare is to be more lucrative.

I agree the requirements to use a new car are making it where uber/lyft will need to provide cars or people will have to rent the cars. Rideshare is to be more lucrative. There is bias, but its transparent. Diluting a zone keeps customers happy but drivers wallets thin.
