Today we want to highlight and celebrate a member of our Caucus. Our favorite @SHollinsD23. Rep Hollins is a leader on the hill and in the community. Representative Hollins' ongoing guidance and counsel is the cornerstone of the existence of the black caucus. Today we thank you.

Day 2. Today we celebrate our 1st Chair and recently elected South Salt Lake At-Large Councilwoman @pinkneyforssl. In 2019 Councilwoman Pinkney won her election, becoming one of the youngest black women ever elected to office in the Beehive State. Today celebrate you! #bhm

Day 3. Did you know the 9th Cavalry Regiment (nicknamed Buffalo Soldiers), a historically black army unit, was once stationed in Fort Duchesne in Uintah County? These soldiers would later become highly decorated for their efforts during the Spanish-American war. #bhm
