#Courage is a value. We should all adopt it. Why? Bc being #brave gets stuff done. Being brave inspires others to get stuff done. #justice

Don't send me anti-science crap like this. The likelihood of getting breakthrough #COVID after being vaccinated is below 5%. 95% of people hospitalized for #COVID19 are unvaccinated. Unvaccinated people also spread a higher viral load of COVID than unvaccinated people.
Replying to @VABVOX
SEEMS LIKE NO ONE IS IMMUNE WITH THE VAX AND NO ONE IS IMMUNE WITHOUT IT. EITHER WAY, NO ONE IS IMMUNE. SO THE FACT THAT HE HAD IT TWICE ALREADY HAS NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT HE ISN'T VACCINATED

This statement is the very definition of anti-vax. And he is clearly not immune to #COVID--he has had it twice already because he ISN'T vaccinated.#COVID19 is the second leading cause of death in the US. AND the unvaccinated are more than 12x as likely to get it as unvaccinated.
MPJ says he’s not antivax β€œWe don’t have years and years of data for how it can affect you. So for me, I know I’m immune to COVID right nowβ€”more immune than a lot of people with the vaccine are. I’ve had it twice.I’ve got the antibodies…just laying off on it for now” (Ringer)

I've been saying this since 2017. Pelosi only won the speakership Jan.3 by EIGHT votes. On Jan. 6, Kevin McCarthy led the House GOP in attempting to overturn the election. Pelosi stopped him. Adam Schiff: Kevin McCarthy Would Be Like Trump as Speaker businessinsider.com/adam-sch…

If Kevin McCarthy wins the speakership in 2022, he will have control over the 2024 election. And as Schiff states, McCarthy is Trump's toady. His fealty is not to America. He proved that January 6.

Lori Lightfoot still trying to appeal to decency among Chicago PD like the FOP hasn't been urging police to ignore the mandate and not get vaccinated.

This is very exciting news!!!
A month from TODAY, The 1619 Project book will finally be in the world. We have painstakingly expanded it, taking the good-faith criticism to heart, inviting even more historians to write, consult and peer review. At more than 600 pages, it is truly breathtaking in its expanse.

By land, air, and sea we're putting one question in front of Trump: Why won’t @GlennYoungkin let him come campaign in Virginia?

Every Democrat should be pushing the Virginia election. This is an actual referendum on Dem issues and the polls are disturbingly close. Particularly as Virginia is so DC-adjacent. Glenn Youngkin is a Trumpist, even though he's afraid to invite Trump to campaign for him.

Or you could be marrying another woman and so all of this would be moot. Also, it's 2021--have more self-respect than to be talking about an 18th c. "marriageability value."

Also the thread beneath that tweet. Yikes. How are folks still positioning women in this way as over the hill past 25 for "good" marriages. That is such retrogressive thinking about women's lives and societal value.

Bernie is a bazillion percent right on this. The MSM has done a "both sides" assault on Biden's #BBB plan for which progressive Democrats have fought hardest. The MSM has also elevated the voices of Manchin and Sinema over Pelosi and Bernie, who have been preaching #BBB 24/7.
New Sanders statement pins blame on the media for Americans’ lack of awareness of what’s in the BBB plan, says press has done an β€œexceptionally poor job” covering the bill and that there has been β€œvery limited coverage as to what the provisions of the bill are”

Remember that EVERY Republican is against this.

"Thought leadership." If this were a woman spewing this nonsense narrative--particularly at such a pivotal historical period--there wouldn't be endless media hype about them--they would be dismissed out of hand as unserious.
Andrew Yang is not actually interested in politics. He’s interested in β€œthought leadership.” These ideas have some overlap and are easy to confuse, but in Yang’s case, the differences come shining through. bit.ly/3ALJLMc

There can't be "moderates" in a party that is extremist and predicated on extremist policies and politics. Just saying.

Your daily reminder that EVERY SINGLE GOP in Congress voted against the #JohnLewisVotingRightsAct. Including the three Black members of the GOP and the Republicans you think are "moderates."

"I'm not morally or ethically aligned with this," said Allison Williams. Not getting vaccinated is both an immoral and amoral choice in a pandemic, and highly unethical, so there's that. Allison Williams is leaving ESPN over COVID-19 vaccine mandate awfulannouncing.com/ncaa/all…

Yikes. When right wing men reveal themselves as not just terrible parents, but also terrible partners. Imagine thinking the only thing a newborn requires is breast feeding. Or that you can't bond with a child until they are older. The party of family values.... isn't.

The blatant disregard for truth by the GOP and Trump administration on #COVID is responsible for the refusal by 40% of Americans to get vaccinated. AND for the majority of the death toll. The GOP is unconscionable and utterly untrustworthy as a political entity across the board.
