Not sure if many other footballers invested in petrol stations to keep them going after retirement but I believe W.I. fast bowler Michael Holding had one in Jamaica.

I vaguely remember one or two of the Derby players had a tie factory. Dave Mackay maybe. Doesn't get much weirder than that. I'll have to gave a look at my dads old books though to be sure.

I live in Enfield which is obviously Tottenham country. There was a shop in Lancaster Road trading as 'formerly Dave Mackay Sports' up until about 5 years ago.
