I shared the below chart in August as schools were gearing up in the States.
It is disturbing to think that if Polio emerged as a new disease tomorrow, America would look at the below chart and think... "So what? Totally survivable in the vast majority." That's where we are folks...

Was/is the paralysis permanent in all the kids who get it, or do a percentage recover from it? Genuine question - not advocating a let it rip policy.
