I think some liberals took from the events of Jan 6 that it is bad to rebel across the board, rather than that the events were bad because it was a fascist rebellion that used lethal means.
Its telling that there is only so far you can go in public discourse advocating for actions to make the world a better place.
We have to very politely and not too disruptively want to make the world a better place.
I needed a place to put my rage and sadness. This is where I landed. It's not productive, it doesn't do much or say much you don't already know and it damn sure doesn't fix anything, but it's what I wrote and maybe you feel the same way.

Accountability isn’t partisan. This was an utter failure of leadership.
These figures are a little out of date - they're for the 116th Congress, and the current one is the 117h -- but I do think this is worth remembering.
