The one thing that gives me a shred of hope is that the level of consciousness we have, globally and domestically, is not the same as it was 50, 100 or 200 years ago. Yes, a lot of bad things are happening but there is also greater awareness that these things are actually bad.

That awareness might feel intangible or meaningless but it is powerful beyond measure. I have no idea how/if this growing, connected consciousness will shift our politics and practices, but there is a shift underway. Somethingโs happening, thatโs for sure.

A lot of women and people who are capable of becoming pregnant are going to die as a result of this decision. Many of them will be poor, many will be Black. And thatโs the goal. This is eugenics co-signed by a Black Supreme Court Justice who hates himself and hates his people.
