The problem at NPR is white supremacy. That so few are saying this explicitly is telling, indeed.

And the lack of journalistic integrity. Failure to ask difficult questions. Fear of upsetting nonprofits, donors, and public opinion. Reproducing dominant/oppressive narratives.

Stopped listening couple of years ago. Listener since a young teen. Was always on. Honestly? I miss it but they fell into "bothsiderism" when the "sides" aren't equal, and the moments where they never pushed back on guests flat out lying piled up.

Notice how “experts” on the news are never pushed back on? Society has gone from accepting that answers have to meet a specific metric to be acceptable, to simply presenting a singular perspective & trying to make everyone agree…
